Last week we were joined with thousands of people from around the world to celebrate World Ocean Day “One Ocean, One Climate, One Future Together". We were delighted to be visited by some amazing scientists who shared their passion for the ocean with our school, including Dr Dani Ceccarelli, Dr Rick Braley, Lawrence Scheele, Tiani Dunn and Dr Andy Lewis. Our Year 6 students presented information about Dugongs, Parrotfish and Manta Rays and Strange Deep-Sea Creatures. Students will also participate in special sports and art activities as part of the celebration. Thanks to Mr Wood for coordinating this special day for our school.
