Ten students went to the Town High STEM Challenge on the 16th August with 6 other schools. First we designed some card-board cars to go fast, made a logo and a speech about how good they were. Then we raced them with carbon dioxide canisters at 65km/hr. Next we went to the Science lab where we used baking soda and sugar and made a big worm thing, then one of the teachers used a large measuring canister and made elephants toothpaste using chemicals we sadly can't buy in the shops, it looked very hot and fluffy. It was super dooper fun, even though we didn't win anything it was a really great day. By Diamond
