Last week our school celebrated NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observation Committee). We were lucky enough to be visited by the amazing Wulgurukaba Walkabouts dancers, the QPWS Yunbenen Rangers and Traditional Owners Brian and Lyle. A special part of our celebration was working with Traditional Owner and proud Wulkurukaba artist, Lee George. We constructed some amazing artworks that will be displayed at various locations, including the ferry terminal, for all to see. A massive thank you to Jo Marks for her organisation of such a great celebration.
