On August 23 Saturday, the Rainbow Run was held here on the school grounds. There was a total of 15 obstacle for participants to run through, with volunteers spraying powdered colour on participants. Island Burger, our main sponsor, was there making burgers for people who wanted a nice lunch. The Rainbow Run lasted for two hours with lots of places people could hang out after they finished.
Personally, our favourite obstacle was the flying fox, run by the SES. Our second favourite was the 'Just Dance' zone. We were dancing for the whole time. Hundreds joined in on the fun, and the P&C prepared paper bags with coloured powder inside so that more people could 'colour' their friends.
We thank our P&C for an amazing day and especially our P&C president, Bridget Kerans. We also thank all of our many sponsors for their involvement in this great community event.
