The Year 5s enjoyed some fresh beetroot from the school garden this week, we harvested the beetroot that was planted from seed in the whole school planting earlier in the year. We roasted it with some garlic and fresh herbs, added Greek yoghurt. Then we were able to relax and enjoy a delicious beetroot dip and some lemon grass tea whilst waiting for our enchiladas to cook, also made with fresh produce from our garden. Our kitchen garden plant stall at the Rainbow Run was very popular, a big thank you from the garden crew for all of your support.
