All of Year 6 was really excited to get back to Peer Support and continue our journey through our pro-gram. Last week we had our Peer Support session themed around NAIDOC week. Mr Hammelswang introduced the theme of 2024's NAIDOC week, being 'Keep the fire burning: blak, loud and proud'. After that, we made our own group posters, to be laid out around a campfire, and hung our big poster at the back of the stage. Some groups even got to watch some small videos about NAIDOC week, and Aboriginal yarns.
This week we are going back to our allocated class-rooms and all of us are excited to return to Peer Support in our usual groups. Thanks, everyone, for taking part in our lessons and activities.
