​Beautiful beetroots!
Another very busy week for the garden crew, we have been spending our Tuesday lunchtimes helping Mr Andrew with the watering of the new gum trees down near the basketball courts. They are looking very healthy; our island koalas will be very happy.
We also had a very delicious Thursday lunchtime with a special beetroot dip tasting, made from our very own school grown beetroot. From seed to table—perfect!
Easy Beetroot Dip:
Cook then peel beetroot. Blend with Greek Yo-ghurt. Try dill, chilli or garlic for extra flavour.
